We had a shot at a national seed if we did well in Hoover don't pretend these games mean nothing.

This is my last baseball season as a student. I go to every game and desperately wanted a national seed. I'm pretty upset over this loss. We have the national seed in our grasp and piss it away.

Honestly, if Arkansas makes the post-season, which seems likely now, it will be a win for us.
This was undoubtedly "supposed to be" a rebuilding year.

UK took the series in the regular season including the first game the Cats pounded the Gators (W, 17 -1). The other 2 were closer (L, 11-10) and (W, 9-8) so they should at least be able to keep close.
The bigger issue is which UK team shows up to play any given day. Cats took series from Gators and Cocks but dropped a series at home to Mizzou. This year they are consistently inconsistent!

It still isn't out of possibility for a national seed. But if we don't get it, it will suck. But I'm also glad we will just host a regional for a change.
