Then a walk

That's one of those where he just got punished for missing his spot. Catcher had to move quite a bit.

That’s a stretch. Garza moved maybe 2 inches and their catcher has setup away from the middle for a throw down the middle and it’s been called all game.
THAT WAS A FRICKING STRIKE TOO

Walker isn't going to get calls when he's missing his spots. he's settled in some but that strike 3 was supposed to be inside and it was on the outside black and at the knees. when you make your catcher move his glove to the opposite side of the plate, you're not going to get many calls unless you've been filling up the zone all night. Walker hasn't. Yes it was a strike and should have been called a strike but it's also not shocking it was called a ball

We can only hope. He has battled like hell. If he could somehow manage to give us an inning or two more that would be outstanding

Now we get to watch the hitting clinic put on by Hughes and Broussard

Rewatch it. Garza moved his glove like 2 inches to the left

Isn't there a run rule at SEC tourney? 7 after 7? Or 10?
For those interested, SEC Bylaw 17.30 adopts NCAA rules:
quote:
In the sports for which the NCAA develops playing rules, member institutions shall conduct all their intercollegiate contests under the official playing rules specified by the NCAA...
NCAA Rule 5-8-b-4
quote:
By conference rule, or mutual consent of both coaches before the beginning of the contest, a game may be stopped after seven innings if one team is ahead by at least 10 runs.
During regular season conference games, the mercy rule can be implemented by mutual consent but is not dictated by the SEC. In SEC tournament play, the rule is dictated the conference.
NCAA tournament games do not allow optional rules such as 5-8-b-4 by virtue of 5-8-f.

Oh you are talking about the second pitch. My bad. I’m talking about the first one that was right down the middle.

Dude we are talking about different pitches. Or at least I can only hope we are since you said outside black and the one I am talking about was nowhere near the outside black
