What arms are you “burning”? Those same guys arms have been throwing since February. You think magically taking a week off of not pitching in a game is going to have any effect on regionals? The only thing I could really think of would be risk of injury but that can happen any day at any given time

More rest can only be a benefit imo.
As an LSU fan, I would think you would agree considering your arm soreness troubles this year.
What is the benefit of winning this tourney if you can’t improve your post season standing?

Throwing 100 pitches has a tendency to heighten the risk of injury and also the risk you won’t be as fresh as possible when it really matters.

Just saw the poor old Tennessee fan that has sat in the same seat and scored every game for the last dozen or so years. She had to have been ecstatic when UT finally made it. Only got to see one game. I a am literally sad for her.
