I mean Rau had to play a bunch too, I'd say foul trouble is causing more of a problem than anything

We had a good player named Kassius Robertson once
Georgia denied him off screens and hedged really hard off ball screens. His only shots were terrible floaters against contested D

Really good defensive half from UGA

This is great. I am a big UGA fan this 2nd half.

Have they been actual fouls, or terrible SEC ref fouls?

First meeting UGA led 23-20 at half time

Mizzou proceeded to score 48 points in the 2nd half.

I think the best thing you can say about Porter that 1st half was at least he didnt turn it over

Hopefully those Missouri fans stick around and watch these Southern teams in the rest of the games. Otherwise the decision to put this shite in St Louis will look like a colossal frick up

Odds Tilmon picks up #3 within 40 seconds of 2nd half?? I'd keep Puryear in regardless.

I don't know why they didn't try to get Porter a few minutes on Saturday against Arkansas. It seems like it would have made for a smoother transition. He shouldn't have 6 more shots than his brother in the first half of his first game back. His brother is one of the best players in the SEC.

You mean starting a player who hasn't played 99% of the year messes up chemistry? Color me shocked

This is very true. I fully expect Mizzou to win this game

There have been a couple bad calls. Tilmon's 2nd was a joke.
Overall they haven't been bad

Maten also had, by far, his worst game of the year

Probably because he didn't get bailed out everytime someone touched him like tonight

Arkansas also would have been a much more ideal matchup for his first game back. Georgia is Top 25 defensively and plays at a snail's pace. Tough first game for a guy who's never played that style of ball

Georgia has the length and athleticism to be a nasty defensive team. They get in trouble when the offense gives up long rebounds and turnovers. The other team can run the floor before they get set.

I'm not able to watch the game at work. How is Porter looking? Missouri going to make a final four run?

In the first UGA-LSU game he literally shoved an LSU player into the sideboards along the media table with a ref staring at him. No call. He can do whatever he wants, but breathe on him and it's a whistle.
