That LSU fan has probably had the same haircut for 45 years

Auburn is definitely making a case for being a host site.

I think #OleMiss fans and media are overthinking the national seed situation right now. Tomorrow against #UGA is not some play-in game for a national seed. Who is going to replace any of those teams at this point? ¯\_(?)_/¯

Undoubtedly. This win puts y'all squarely in the mix at the very least.

I agree with him on principle that Top 8 teams should be Super Regional hosts. But I just can't believe the NCAA will give UF, Arkansas, OM, and UGA all national seeds until it happens
From an RPI standpoint, both UGA and OM lost to solid tournament teams today and obviously playing each other isn't going to drop one from where they are (#3 RPI and #9 respectively). Statistically, neither team should lose any ground tomorrow if they lose other than a win and a loss added to the pile.
OM has to play again in about 15 hours but UGA is going to be without it's starting Catcher and Right Fielder (probably). Really would suck if one of those two teams playing under those circumstances missed out on a national seed because of that game.

They’ve only done it once. This year it makes a lot of sense.

I didn't bother to read back for more context but just in case some of you didn't know, they're actually seeding 1-16 this year. Not just the top 8. So "national seed" is a more loose term as all regional hosts will now technically be "national seeds".

In this case we mean Top 8 for Super Regional sites. UGA, OM, Arkansas, Florida and maybe South Carolina (possibly Auburn after the past 2 days?) will host regionals.

what are the pitching matchups for the night game between south carolina and arkansas? advantage arkansas?

I'd like to see Arkansas win 1 or 2 before I feel confident that they'd get one of the 8, but the projections before the last weekend had us at #3 and #4 despite most polls having us sitting slightly higher, so they'd really had to have held that UGA loss against them heavily for Arkansas to end up outside of a top 8 seed. UGA has an outside shot, Florida is a given, Ole Miss I think deserves it but who knows.

Serious question from a casual baseball fan. Is Florida going to throw this game on purpose?
Watched all of Aub-OleMiss. Good game Tigers.

Yeah heard coaches asked team to lay down today. Team was glad to oblige cuz they want to make sure they go on a really big losing streak entering tournament.. you know for momentum reasons
