Going to be some long nights if we have to piecemeal this thing together.

There is a system in the gulf and it is literally supposed to rain for the next week. Hypothetically, what happens if they can’t play the tournament?

Play as much as possible and then cancel the tourney. No reason to play past Sunday when regional begin the next week.

Can they do that though? I though the entire tourney had to be played.

Great question and very likely this tourney will not be completed.

Go to single elimination straight through if necessary?

As an ole miss fan, I think our seed line is pretty locked unless we win the tourney -which would likely require tiring out our arms. So I would not cry if the tourney is not finished. But I would be pissed if I were a bubble team.

I don't know if that is true or not, but it doesn't sound right. If so then I saw we play 1 inning games. If there is a tie then the higher seed advances.

Being prepared for regional >>>>>>> conference tourney

And even if no official storm forms, there is a wet tropical airmass in place through next Monday at least.

There will definitely be breaks in the rain so games can happen. I’m just skeptical that the whole tourney finishes. Has that ever happened to a major conference?

That's shitty. Might as well make every game 7 innings.

they are cleaning up the infield. Assuming the weather holds we should get back to playing soon.
