Harry Gilmer-1948. I really thought Namath was a #1 until I looked just looked it up.

Didn't Namath have some knee injury later in his college career? Probably why.

I think Sterling Sharpe might have been our highest? Highest first round I think? Someone correct me if I have no idea wtf I am saying.

1- George Rogers (I hate to count chickens before they hatch but hopefully Clowney will be our 2nd to go #1 overall.
Sharpe was the 7th pick (had to look it up) tied with Troy Williamson who also went 7th overall when he was drafted.
Only had 10 first rounders.

If Teddy has a good season he could easily go first. Not saying he's a better prospect, but QB needs are generally valued higher.

Could be a couple of solid QBs in next years draft.
McCarron
Murray
Mett
Bridgewater
Boyd
Price
Not saying they will all have stellar years or end up good draft prospects, but the POTENTIAL is there.
I mean, hell, Ponder is the starting QB for the Vikings and EJ Manual was the only QB taken in the 1st round this year. Who the hell expected either of those to happen? The NFL is a bit retarded when it comes to QBs.

One of these QBs is not like the others... One of these QBs just doesn't belong...

5 is a strong number, Audrey Bruce was a semi-bust. Bo and Cam both played in Pro Bowls. The other two were from a long time ago, but neither was considered a bust.
