Two friends and I showed up to Baum during the rain delay. Just left the gym. I'm in an LSU shirt and hat; other two were Arkansas fans. The ticket collector told us to "hold up our hands like we had a stamp on them" and come on in.
Stayed until the end of the game. It was a crazy loud game for 2-3 am. Good win Hogs!
Now time for some sleep before work in 4 hours.

Here's the deal with that arse clown's comments...He was perfectly fine with playing the top of the 8th when his team got the lead in a downpour. Once the top half of the 8th was over with and they led 8-7, that is when he wanted the game to be delayed. Van Horn was pissed because he wanted the Missouri State pitcher to have to throw in the same conditions ours just had done. So, we played on and the umpires all agreed.
Missouri State's staff has lacked class since their Super Regional here two years ago and it will be our pleasure to send their arse packing once again this season.

You can't make one team pitch in a monsoon and not make the other is all I am saying.
The game if it was going to be delayed until today, should have happened before the wee hours of the morning anyway. At the point the game was at, MSU had just taken the lead and then he starts screaming to delay the game. The Arkansas pitchers were having to pitch in the rain, so theirs should as well. Each team benefited in that 8th inning from the weather. Had the game been delayed when he wanted it to be delayed, only MSU would have benefited. Which is what he wanted in the end.
He can be salty all he wants, but both teams played in the same conditions. If it were me, we would stop playing those arse holes during the regular season. We sell more tickets at their home stadium every year we go there. Second rate program with a baby back bitch as a coach. Their fans are cocky and arrogant and their coach is the same.
Bottom line...you can't be okay with the rain in your at bat and then bitch about the bottom half of the inning and hope to be taken seriously.

Pretty shitty to make them pitch during a downpour, but I get the feeling Arkansas was banking on that to stay alive. It clearly affected the game.

Resuming the game at 12:30 sucks for both sides equally. Well, maybe it's worse for the team that already played a game that day

Agree completely, but it was the umps that wanted the game to continue, not Arkansas.
We got screwed once again in that inning, having to pitch and field in the rain. Having a rain delay until after midnight isn't ideal for the home team when many fans will head home. I'm sure we would've been fine continuing in the AM.
