Thank you for basically ranking the populations of states

With the exception of Kentucky...which has more people than Louisiana, but slightly lower GDP.

4 Tennessee $589.8 billion - 7.3 million
5 Missouri $468.5 billion - 6.3 million
6 South Carolina $378.8 billion - 5.6 million
7 Alabama $341.2 billion - 5.2 million
8 Louisiana $340.1 billion - 4.60 million
9 Kentucky $306.9 billion - 4.62 million
10 Oklahoma $274.4 billion - 4.1 million

There is no way any path for Louisiana to ever look like Montana.

Cool beans. I’ll be here just enjoying our MS raised catfish, tamales, craft beers, BBQ, slugburgers (it’s a northeast MS thing), coastal seafood, crappie, and muscadine products…. Along with my lower cost of living. Yeah MS just really sucks to live in.

Yes! Everyone is always trying to flex on us because we don’t have any big cities and all the problems that come with it. It’s paradise here for me!

GDP is a retard's way to measure wealth distribution by state. The better way is median household net worth adjusted for PPP.

If you were more economically literate, you'd have found that this actually makes your case for you even better than GDP does.

Florida is at the top, with $225k. Georgia is third with $167k. And Poor little Arky is dead last at $63k.

But this is primarily driven by property value, and that largely a function of where the boomers are moving to for their retirement and a function of how urbanized the state is.

What sucks for... well for all of us... but especially for y'all is that real estate is in the bubble to end all bubbles. Property only has realized value if someone will buy it.
