SEC Stadium Rankings - CBS Sports
Thoughts?
It's rare when your favorite team is paying property tax on the top 2 stadiums. Such is the life of a BAMA fan.

I have attended Auburn away games since the 80’s. Watched every one of the campuses and stadiums grow. Most are to be commended.
After 40 plus years my unbiased rank. Not ranking Texas or Oklahoma as my last trip to Austin was 1991. Never been to Norman but looking forward to it in 2 years.
Tiger Stadium
Ben Hill Griffin
Sanford
Williams Brice
Davis Wade
Bryant Denny
Neyland
Kroger Field
Kyle Field
Vaught Hemingway
Reynolds Razorback
Faurot Field
First Bank

Our stadium is not better than Kentucky’s

You only get Intense Old School Tiger Stadium Death Valley against Alabama every other year at NIGHT and a few other big SEC games at NIGHT.
I wonder how this will look post Saban.
I don't know that the animosity towards Alabama will be there over the next several years if Deboer comes in and goes 9-3 the next two years.
Ole Miss with Kiffin may become the main attraction

Tiger Stadium and Neyland are massively overrated.
Tiger fans don’t show up for any game before a 7 pm kick off and leave at halftime.
Neyland is a dump.

I don't exactly agree with this, but crazy to say that we would be waaaaaay higher in any other conference. This league is batshit for football.

Of course!
All of us have better seats at our own stadium.
I am spoiled rotten with Tiger Walk Club (10 yards from seats) but have to sit in upper decks and park miles away from the stadiums at away games.
Looking forward to seeing how well you are spending that SEC money to upgrade and increasing capacity to 61,620 when Aubie comes to town.
Do you still have to go down a flight or two of stairs below ground to the bathrooms that Truman built?
Davis Wade and Kroger Field are much nicer and louder and both seat a few hundred less than Harry Truman High.

Kroger really looks nice. I like how they took our seats and made it a better gameday experience

Clearly this was done before the installation of our self serve beer coolers.

Never been but almost any LSU fan who has raves about the atmosphere there.
If I were ranking stadiums, in-game atmosphere would be the main factor. All the fluffy stuff about suites, etc are like sides at a BBQ joint.

For amenities it’s Bryant-Denny and Kyle field then a huge step down to #3.
For atmosphere/crowd noise I’d go:
1) Tiger Stadium
2) Jordan-Hare
3) Bryant-Denny
4) Swamp
5) Neyland (when they’re good)
6) Kyle
7) Sanford
8) Williams-Bryce
9) Davis-Wade (could go higher depending on cow bell enforcement)
10) Reynolds (higher when good)
11) VHS
12) Faurot
13) Kroger
14) Vandy
Texas/OU tbd. Have to see both for a primetime night kickoff to be apples to apples.

Kyle Field's the finest and newest venue in the league.

I'd love to hear the argument for ranking it anywhere other than 1st.
Because it is chock full of aggies. I think “minimal to zero aggies in home section” is criteria #3.

I know. I posted it tongue in cheek as a DV magnet. Looks like it worked!
As far as the bathrooms, I think they are still on the ground floor, not below. I hope you enjoy your visit, but it kinda sounds like you’ve already decided you won’t.

Make up your minds when you get here. Bring the kids along, it is an extremely safe environment.

1-12 is pretty much interchangeable. Though I'd move these up:
WBS (next to BR, this is the best away stadium for me)
Kyle (120k -- what it seems like -- screaming gay milkmen is entertaining as hell)
I'd move these down:
Neyland's pretty neat but not as fun as it used to be.
Sanford (it's truly a drunk fest -- I love to get hammered as much as the next guy but got damn, Dawgs -- your religion truly is booze)
Ben HG (it's a blast there but too many jorts)
13-16 is dead on.

Pretty damn impressive both of Alabamas Stadiums are ranked 1 & 2.

You would put Missouri behind Vandy? That’s just dumb. Miss St is too high on here also.
