They are. Not as good this year, but still pretty good.
Went to the WCWS in 2008, 2010, 2016 and 2018. Generally win 40+ games.

much like baseball everyone is really good in the SEC so the record doesn’t indicate if a squad is bad nationally

Pretty cool how all teams in the conference have winning records overall and most have 30 wins. I guess I've never realized how competitive SEC softball is. You see all the way down to A&M that most losses are coming in conference.

The only team to take a series from Alabama all year is South Carolina.

What happened to Florida? They've got arguably 2 of the top 5 softball players on that team and one of the best transfers for a 3rd player that anyone would want to have, plus they are Florida with 4 or 5 straight SEC titles.
