Staying in Dallas this week for an orientation, last couple of days have been eventful. Can't get through an inning of baseball without a severe weather warning interruption.

Sales/consulting area from roughly Lake Charles to Mobile, wasn't locked into Hammond, but fits the logistics.

The north shore is the most up and coming place in south LA. Especially for young and middle age professionals. Lots to do and great distance from the big fun of BR and NOLA. If I left BR, that’s where I’d go.
 I love the centrality of the place. Hoping to be moved in enough to catch the Ole Miss game Sunday. Haven't been on campus since I was enrolled a thousand years ago.

Born and raised in nola, but haven't been back to LA since the 90s. Never lived on the North Shore, didn't really visit except for the Strawberry Festival with my folks every year. Any good North Shore restaurant/things to do recommendations? I know it's a stretch, but I want to make the most of it.
I plan on getting over to BR for LSU games and for poker, nola for Saints games and poker, and the Miss coast for old peeps and poker. But what's within the immediate area worth checking out? Anything? Good fishing spots? Any hidden food gems?

re: How many of you are planning to live in Louisiana your entire lives? Why?

I'm about to move back to Louisiana after being gone for 30 years and have never felt more excited in my life. Lived everywhere, been everywhere, but home is where the heart is.

Verlander, Twins and Bregs, oh my! Premier MLB matchup of the day.

Same way I've now enjoyed watching Astros games and going to Rockies games (til they traded DJ). All day!

LSU will have their shot to take control of the West with Ole Miss and Arkansas still on the slate. Whether they will take care of business -- like they seemingly always have in May -- is another story in 2019.
This team is an enigma.

Yup. Jarvis had a pretty solid outing, too. The usual 2013 suspects.

23-21 State right now. Will end up outscoring them 38-3 rest of the way, so enjoy. Good primer for the Bregs-Twins showdown.

How would you grade the Saints draft so far?
Posted by GeauxHeaum on 4/27/19 at 1:25 pm
And who would you like to see them grab at #177?
I give them a solid A, especially considering their relative lack of leverage coming in.
Also, and I know this won't be popular, but I'm hoping Gerald Willis III is still around when we're on the clock.
That said... :whodat:
