This is the favored BS that TEXAS used to ruled over B12 and SWC.

Texass was favored by their conference by heavy handed rules that favored them, because they are suppose to be the perpetual champions, because, Texas.

When they were begging the SEC to join, the people from Hog land and B12 warned us about Texas rules they suffered while the conference was trying to pave the way for Texass to win easier.

We all thought, and said, Oh No, not the SEC.
We mocked Texass fans, telling them on this very board how they better get used to being just another team in SEC.

But, here we are, the first Major, special, emergency meeting about competitive advantages and lo and behold here comes Sankey holding the new rule which...........
FAVORS TEXAS.
LSU or any other team considering a professional athlete are now banned, unless the are TEXAS.

The wording in the rule is specifically designed to ban professional athletes, except for the one Texas has.
That specific wording was carefully chosen to make an exception for one team, mainly Texas

Someone in legal at SEC will be fired for that oversight, and an Addendum will quietly and quickly be added to the TEXAS EXEMPTION

According to the new rule, he isn't eligible.

1. Previously declared for the draft and didn't appropriately withdraw.

20+ years without a title in a men’s Big 3…

They’re in the same pity category with Ole Miss now.

I don't see how him failing to remove himself from the draft and going to NFL mini-camps doesn't disqualify him like the others.

Christ man, get it together. Texas or the SEC did not go out of their way to hold an emergency meeting and make an exception for a kid that is largely going to be a non-factor this season.

I've posted this in other threads but this isn't true. The Texas kid won't be eligible if the SEC rule holds up in court. He didn't "withdraw from the draft".. If he did he wouldn't have been allowed to go to rookie mini camp.

Makes what Oklahoma did to them even more impressive.

Yet, the SEC had an emergency meeting and made up a rule that bans pro players returning, except for the one at Texas.

See what happened there
