If you can't see that fans or alumni reffing a game is a conflict of intrest then I can't help you. If you want to come to Baton Rouge and have a bunch of LHSAA do the gme I can assure you you wouldnt like the results as much as we do. Yet you think its okay the other way around.

Inspired by the OP's magnificent investigative
work, I have uncovered the fact that
Associate SEC Commissioner Tiffany Daniels is a
graduate of Georgia State. Ladies & gentlemen,
you do know who came into Neyland and beat Tennessee
in their opening game. Don't have all the
facts yet but see the connection---Tiffany Daniels,
SEC honcho + Georgia State + mysterious Tennessee
beat down.

Not at all. Calling me names isn't going to make your position more reasonable either. I just can't reasonably see where the fact that his wife and her family being nothing more than fans of a team could influence him.

I am a LSU fan and I have seen many many shady officiating calls go in Bama's favor. Your position is so irrational that it has me defending the ref-Bama connection in this case. Think about that for a while.

The bammer in quesiton is Thomas Gerard Hennessy. Feel free to check out his facebook. Plenty of pics in bama gear and pics in tuscalossa. He posted a picture of dan capron on title game night with the caption:

quote:

Family Pride: If you’re watching the game tonight, the guy wearing the white hat and flipping the coin will be Big 10 referee Dan Capron. He’s married to my sister Mary Anne.

We also see here: LINK and LINK here that this same person has been disciplined and outright demoted in the past due to poor performance.

Again, before you call me a conspiracy theorist or something, I'm not saying dan specifically went in attempting to call in bama's favor. What I am saying is that it makes no sense for him to have even been working the game consiering his past history of poor performance and family ties to one of the schools.

Only committed 5 vs Tennessee somehow.

Does everyone here just make up their own narrative and run with it?

Penalties:

Bama 8 for 93 yards
Tennessee 13 for 93 yards

Stop Bot ignores that fact that decorated Alum Steve Shaw controls the officiating. You guys say Bama contols the SEC we agree and we are tired of it. If you dont like the accusation " the appearance of impropriety" get non affiliated people (which should be obvious ) and move the office --its not that hard.

You're right. Its not hard. 10 votes and the SEC can get rid of Shaw and move the SEC HQ but they never do for some reason

Do you guys actually think that the University of Alabama has any say in where the SEC offices are, or who the officials are who call the games?

Tiger Tom, if Alabama "controls the SEC" then why don't the other schools not do something about it? Presidents, ADs, donors all cucks or what?
