That historic 15-0 season in 2019 helped LSU a lot.

Interesting that Missouri is closer to LSU than Georgia is to Alabama.

Sure if you take away our best season it hurts our standing? It helps in the same way the east being complete arse for a decade has helped UGA.

Alabama's been incredible the last decade.

But the reality is UGA will close that gap even if Bama has better years than UGA the next few because UGA will be dropping off mediocre years for better ones while Bama will by dropping off great years for great years.

Actually... not really true for this season. We'll be dropping off a 12-2 record replaced with this year... so it won't make much of a difference. But after that will come 8-5, 10-3, 10-3 and 8-5. For the last 4 full schedule years UGA's gone 13-2, 11-3, 12-2 and 14-1. So the gap will narrow even if Bama doesn't come down.

2002-2021:

Georgia - 204 wins.
Bama - 198 wins (I think this may have subtracted some games due to NCAA violations... they're still #1 in winning percentage for this timeframe)
LSU - 195 wins

Florida - 175 wins
AU - 171 wins

Missouri - 150 wins (including before they joined SEC)
A&M - 149 wins (including before they joined SEC)
SC - 138 wins
Tenn - 137 wins

Arky - 128 wins
Ole Miss - 124 wins
MSU - 121 wins
UK - 118 wins

Vandy - 84 wins

It's important to note that while Mark Richt didn't bring a national title to UGA, he brought an incredible level of consistency. In his 15 seasons he had only 1 with less than 8 wins. (6-7 in 2010)

THat's why the 20 year range is so good for UGA. They have none of the 3-9 or 4-8 stinker years to make up for.

Records since the beginning of the new decade, 2020 - present

Decades start in year 1...not year 0. So, 2020 was the last year of the prior decade, 2021 was the first year of this decade.

so positive numbers start at 1, not 0.000000000000001, etc....

so A.M. starts for you at 1 A.M., and P.M. starts at 1 P.M.?

so you count the year 1970 as the 1960's?

Alabama’s win totals are always going to be a little inflated. They don’t have to play Alabama every year. At best, they’d go 5-5 against themselves.

Oh, and they do get to play Tennessee every year, so that’s an automatic 10 wins.

Plus, until last season, Saban had never lost to a former assistant. There’s always a few of those scattered around the conference. So, that’s usually a couple of automatic wins each season.

They rarely lose in Baton Rouge, so that’s an automatic 4 wins each decade.

Amusing coming from a team that has twice as many losses than wins against them.

Georgia has inflated wins because the SEC East has sucked this past decade.

So the year 2000 was a part of the 19th century? That's retarded

2000 - 2009
2010 - 2019
2020 - 2029
2030 - 2039
2040 - 2049
2050 - 2059
2060 - 2069
2070 - 2079
2080 - 2089
2090 - 2099

Yes.

Because the year 2000 is part of the 20th century; we're in the 21st century.

So thinking the year 2000 is part of the 19th century would be quite retarded.
