So far Arkansas provided the only impressive performance.
Only because the name of team, not because of the actual team they beat. This wasn't a very good Kansas team this season.

None of the legitimate teams have lost.

Y’all need to remember that Arkansas is fully capable of crapping the bed in any given game against any given opponent.
It’s all house money now though.

Mizzou/Arkansas off set each other. We are going to have 1/4 of the participants in the round of 32.

Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Kentucky, Ole Miss, Tennessee, A & M makes 8 on to the Round of 32. That's 57% of the original 14 bids. A chance to fill out half of the Sweet Sixteen. But 7 or 6 wouldn't be bad, either.

Our team peaked mid season. Made a lot of progress from last year but still a downer to end it like that.

People who think having 8 SEC teams playing in the round of 32 is a disappointment are fricking retarded and have no ability to have a logical discussion about this.
Just a few years back we were hoping 8 SEC teams would make the tournament.

some of the SEC haters on Reddit are really over the top about it.
The OOC regular season record shows they are wrong. I know it's tournament time and now is when it really matters, but lots of teams had chances early in the season to put a dent in some of the SEC resume.
Instead, the SEC was pretty dominant...185-23 OOC record.
30-4 vs ACC

14-2 vs BigXII
10-9 vs B1G

The SEC went from comprising 20.6% of the field to 25% of the field after the first round. The lower seeds primarily lost, other than Arkansas. I’d say the SEC is still doing just fine, and congratulations and good luck to the eight teams that have made it to the Round of 32.

I told you roughly half wouldn’t make it out of the first round. Or in the case of Texas to the first round … I think the season has begun to take a toll on some of the teams. The top teams are all good though

I think the math speaks for itself. SEC doing as good as expected.
Wouldn't mind Arkansas making a run. That game was fun to watch.

Georgia’s loss was so embarrassingly pathetic that it makes it tough for the rest of the league to recover.

This is so pathetic
