Honestly, probably 4-1. We’d have lost to either Tennessee or A&M. But, we get to find out in the next few weeks since we play bama, @aub, @vandy, A&M, Miss St, and @OU

But what happens every year is teams that are set up to play all their SEC games at home for the first 3 or 4 games, then finish with their last 4 on the SEC road, will start out 6-0, then end up 8-4. I see it every year.
Why would the SEC change it? It is exactly like they want it. They want a bunch of highly ranked 0 and 1 loss teams playing each other at the end of the year. It drives more eyeballs to TVs and the SEC uses that viewership to drum up more revenue.

Historically, Tennessee's football schedule (at least for the last 30 years or so) has been front-loaded.
Tennessee and Florida have played each other 54 times. 30 of those have been in the month of September, and 15 have been in October. One was a December bowl game and one was pushed to December because of 9/11. That means, of the 53 regular season games they've played, 46 were scheduled for the month of September or October. Of those 15 October games, 7 (including this year) were scheduled on or before October 13th. Of the other 8, only 3 were on the last Saturday in October. So, Florida (which has been a pretty good program for the last 3 decades or so) were typically at the start of the season, and was usually the conference opener.
Tennessee and Georgia have played each other 55 times. 13 of those have been in September and 31 have been in October. Before the divisions were formed, Georgia was frequently the SEC opener (see 1980, 81, 88, 89, 92, 93, 94, 95). I would also note that Georgia was the SEC opener for Tennessee this year. Between 1980-1922, Tennessee and Georgia did not ever face each other later than October 12th.
Tennessee and Alabama have played each other 107 times. The first 10 games (1910 - 1912) were all in November. The last 97 times they have played, it has been in October.
From what I've dug up, Tennessee's record in the month of November is 191-57-3. From 1945 through 1991, Tennessee's last three conference games were always Ole Miss, Kentucky and Vanderbilt (except for '52-55).

Sos is such a bad way of ranking schedule if you play one team
Who is in the 100s like Kent state it totally deflates your schedule … I have seen sec schedules so far and OU hasn’t faced the second easiest schedule .

There should be no instance that an SEC team plays less than 5 ranked teams. You can foresee preseason which ones will pan out or not.

Dang. That’s a lot of work and words spent on an inane post.

OU has been in the league 2 years don’t clump us in we won’t be going 18 years of anything without going to one lol. And no everyone doesn’t know that we are all near the top of standings it’s you crying your team sucks .
More importantly... OU's schedule doesn't set up at all in terms of what he is complaining about.
OU has had one SEC home game. Then they play in Dallas. Then they have a road game. So one out of three SEC home games. Then they bounce back and forth home and away for the rest of the season.
Last year they played.... Away at Auburn... then in Dallas... then home against South Carolina. They only had three SEC home games last year all season.

Our schedule had 5 preseason top 15 teams in it. It’s not our fault none of them could live up to the hype.

I mean if we’re speaking objectively, Missouri has drawn a remarkably easier schedule than State over the past three seasons. Not saying we’ve been very good, I get that we’ve been horrible for obvious reasons… But to not acknowledge that Missouri has had very favorable schedules relative to the bulk of the other SEC schools foolish.
