Looking at the okie portal class, the only guy that impresses me is the TE Beers, but we BYOB in CoMo, so ain't no way y'all are coming into Faurot and winning on senior night.

Sec Mike is a know Sooner homer. He’s picked them to win the sec the last two years and has said OU is his favorite SEC school
He’s always on their podcasts. Not sure if he’s doing a bit

He's the 2nd best TE OU got though. That dude from Florida we got is a beast. Plus the 2 WR transfers from Texas and Virginia.

Beers is gonna be flat by November.
You know I'm just having fun with his name, right? I know nothing about the guy, besides his cool last name.

SEC Mike is actually a good listen, even if he's short-changing my Tigers this year.

OU's other two TEs are SEC guys... from Florida and Tennessee...
So they gotta be good... no?

This looks aboujt right. LSU a little high, though. I would put them one slot above Florida.

What do you think?
we should be fairly improved on defense but likely worse on offense. Potentially by a good bit.
I guess as BACK TO BACK SEC CHAMPIONS we've earned this cred but I have a hard time looking at our team right now and saying "yeah, we're the best team in the league". No idea who would be instead though either.

That early OU is Georgia game in Athens should be epic.
It will be an epic beatdown, if that's what you mean.

I can help you a little there. It certainly won't be Oklahoma.

Fun fact his sister is Reagan Beers who was OUs leading scorer in women's basketball.

Real football talk, yeah I'd say you've got definite upgrade at TE. The VA WR is pretty good too.

I'd also have to see a lot of improvement with the OU QB and running game
Our new RB coach just had 2 RB proteges taken on 1st round draft. Mateer will be better this year after injury plus having same OC and ability to install systems. TE additions (coach and players) will make a huge difference plus help run game. Along with experienced OLine.

Oh, look.
Another dallastiger55 thread sucking Oklahoma's dick.
Shocker.

Alabama probably has a better QB situation than half the teams above them
How can you even determine this when you don't even know who the starter is and both are unproven?
Georgia's guy has experience, Oklahoma's does, Texas' does, Ole Miss may have the best quarterback in the conference, Aggie's guy started last year.
That leaves Tennessee and LSU with new starters.

The same way I assumed Ty Simpson would be one of the top QBs in the conference last offseason. I follow the team closer than y'all. Russell is the starter and he has the WR weapons to cook assuming he isn't a casualty to bad OL play.

Sure, but you also said Simpson would beat out Milroe and be 1st or 2nd team all SEC.

In 2025? Milroe was in the NFL.

The only way we sniff a title is if our defense is absolutely dominant
