Alabama probably has a better QB situation than half the teams above them and in this era of parity when you have a good defense and a good quarterback then you're probably going to be in the hunt. If they can make just a modest improvement in pass protection and run blocking, they'll be more than fine. Nobody in the SEC strikes the fear of God into me. The top 8 teams are mostly all in the same boat.

Oklahomas defense is going to be nasty. Even better than last year. Big upgrades at WR, TE, and RB I can see it. That early OU is Georgia game in Athens should be epic.

I’m not sure OU is a threat until they show they can run a competent offense that isn’t solely reliant on the big play.
That defense is legit, if the offense takes a step forward they will be a threat.
I’m not so sure Ole Miss is going to be that good again. They lost a lot of players and coaches.

Jim Nagy was the single biggest hire OU has made in a while with Jason Witten right behind him. #1 class for 2027 coming too. Mateer just has to stay healty and with that freshman Oline a year older and the weapons they added the offense will be better.

With a RS fresh and/or true fresh QB starting, Id have to see it to beleive we finish above bama and lsu. I'd also have to see a lot of improvement with the OU QB and running game.
