Thank god.

Wish it was already implemented so Skylar could have his game-winning layup count under his name due the refs missing Kentucky's blatant basket interference.

People's live were in danger... that goal could have fell on someone.

Well of course, a flaw has been found.

Am I correct that even with you being the OP that this thread according to UK fans is more of LSU fans melting?

Whoa, I’m just clearing up what an NCAA ref said about the so called “interference”.

The SEC must see that a missed goal tending call should lead to changes in end of game video reviews and rulings.

He should also brush up on rules to understand the rulebook says UK had basket interference on the play before the tip in and it doesnt even matter.

Yeah, That "used to be" official got blasted for his comments. Here you are, two days later, starting a thread about it.

The 3 official who are on the floor also did not think it was interference. So, they must agree with the CBS analyst who was the former ref.

I believe Tigers fans are confusing an SEC melt with a Kentucky melt.

They also didnt see offensive goaltending on us, and didnt see you go over the back on an offensive board which helped you get back in the game at the end.

Officials miss calls all the time and are wrong often.

In this instance, clearly the former ref didn't read his own rulebook, which clearly states if you vibrate the goal by hitting the net, rim AND backboard which you did all 3 while the ball was on or near the backboard, that's basket interference and/or goaltending as it can cause the shot to be altered off the backboard...which again makes total sense.

If you guys want to get technical on a rule that's hardly ever called on a tip in like that, then let's get technical on all those things that led up to that moment.

Yes they did, Tony Green was overheard “goal tending” but the official under the basket claimed to not seen it...all 3 refs have to come to an agreement to make a call. It is not reviewable by video.

Contact didn’t alter the shot? He slapped the back board and Sky tried to bank it off a vibrating back board UK fans are such clowns. You lost GTF over it

Tony Greene is one of the worst officials in NCAA basketball so I’d take his opinion with a grain of salt

I think the change in the review policy is the way to go, but limit it to the last 2 minutes of the game or overtime.

One of the 2 also slapped the backboard & the backboard was definitely moving.

Nice to see SEC not wasting anytime on this immediate officiating issue.

Wonder if the urgency would have been there had UK won the game on the same play?
