The part where jimdog got his panties in a wad after he said I accused Saban of cheating which never happened, I merely said Alabama has had quite a bit of issues with the NCAA and they had some wins vacated under Saban.

The great irony to me with all of this is Dabo whined about a team (Alabama) using apple watches in the middle of a crisis to see how they're being active.

They're crying that it's a competitive advantage but by crying and possibly getting sanctions on Alabama THAT'S THE COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE that other teams get by Alabama losing scholarships, etc.

He is mad because Clemson's Athletic Dept is relatively low revenue producing inspite of all of Clemson's recent football successes. They have played in 4 of the last 5 NC games and their Ath Dept Rev is 27th overall, trailing 10 SEC programs including instate rival USCe by ~20 million in total revenue.

ACC conference payouts are on the low end of the Power 5, and I'm not sure they can shake enough donor trees to really see a significant bump. There certainly isn't much more they can do on the football field to garner more support.

A tougher schedule that generated more televised games would help. The ACC network may have helped boost the conference payouts, but it is a still a basketball conference. When the 2018-2019 #s are released we'll see, although COVID-19 will take its toll.

Clemson isn't even tops in the ACC in revenue. FSU earned/brought in nearly $48 million more than Clemson in 2017-2018. Hell, they even trailed Louisville by $14 million.

Yes, they are getting their money's worth in football return on investment, but it has to eat Dabo up when he looks at the disparity in revenue generation.

The frickin' Minnesota Golden Gophers generate ~$2million more the CU. But, hockey money is a solid #3 among revenue generating sport in the NCAA.
