Looking at this map, Missouri may really be SEC after all.

It looks to me I should call them smarter than the traditional red states. They are also swing states that will most likely flip in the next elections..

They are traditionally red states. Especially Ohio and Indiana.

The part of Georgia where I live has a high literacy rate.

That must be difficult for you.

I assume they have some accommodations in place for you to be able to function alongside the rest?

You live in a not so great part of Maryland.....but hey, at least it's not PG county or Baltimore city though.
.

I grew up in Crownsville. Georgia Law grad and live in Atlanta now. But you are right, happy to have avoided PG County and Baltimore City (for the most part).

Anne Arundel County is cool. Annapolis, Naval Academy, Arlington Echo camping, Chesapeake Bay right there. Get home from school and takethe canoe out. Definitely unique and good. No complaints.

Great Public Education

The best seafood in the country comes out of the Chesapeake Bay. It's the largest brackish body of water in the United States

I grew up in BR Louisiana and then the military is what brought me to Maryland, still live here (better jobs). I was just messing with you about you not being in a great part of Maryland. Crownsville isn't bad at all and the Annapolis area is pretty cool. I live more on the western side.

I used to think that the seafood between MD and LA was great, until someone turned me on to northern seafood, colder waters, better taste and healthier for you (except for blue crab and gulf shrimp). The Blue Point oysters are delicious and beat anything out of the Chesapeake or the gulf (in my opinion). I highly recommend you try them. A little pricey though.

That map is crap. For example, there are no people in Northern Maine. Other areas of the North West are the same way. If you do not believe me look at a demographic map compared to this.

My dad was military (retired now). He was stationed at Ft. Meade when I was very young. Parents divorced and he jetted off to Ft. Ord/Seaside, California. Mom moved us to Crownsville. Always joke with her that she was looking for a Navy man Definately a nice place to grow up looking back.

I want to do this. Thinking about a trip to Maine this summer because I've never been and want to try fresh Maine lobster. There or Rhode Island.
