It’s funny now how that bama don’t have all the advantages anymore the league all of a sudden wants to break off from the ncaa

It's not a BAMA thing. What does the NCAA provide that the SEC and BIG 10 can't do for themselves? Negotiate TV deals? Nope. Line up post season games with venues? Nope.
And, if anyone else is watching, the NCAA has been deemed almost toothless in most recent court cases.

No, the SEC isn’t leaving by themselves. They would lose all credibility in competition especially coming off the last 3 years. It might be interesting for a year or two but eventually the young players would get tired of the bashing the media, outside the bubble of the south” would give them. And the NFL wouldn’t like it and they do have a lot of power.

What advantages history, facilities and championships? I mean it’s not like they had a state all to themselves to recruit from. State provided academic scholarships like TOPS to help student athletes or even gambling money for public universities. So what advantages are you referring to?

Really? The NCAA let Bama break recruiting rules for decades. Sure, others did as well and Saban taught Kirby well which has led us to all this. Other schools finally got tired of being punished for what others are doing - and now everyone can do it.

The cover up on what was going on in the offices of the NCAA would make a great book and movie.

Y’all are full f shite. LSU got busted Auburn was suspected MSST was rumored not a fricking peep on Alabama. That is fans making excuses for getting their arse kicked for over a decade. Was bama clean hell no but they weren’t cheating at all higher level than any of the rest of you. Hell with Saban you didn’t need to.

Paying players when it was illegal. Scheduling advantages when only one team per conference got to go to the dance. Officiating bias (somewhat still exists). Having gump robots in the media vouch for you time and time again to make sure you get 2nd and 3rd chances after losing. (Paul Finebaum, Josh Pate, Greg McElroy, Rece Davis).
