If that’s the case I guarantee next year it’s on that means Texas-Alabama in Tuscaloosa next year could be scrapped as well

I'd be very bummed if the game in Tuscaloosa was scrapped next year. I've never been to Bryant-Denny, and if the game is half as entertaining as the one on Saturday just was, then we should be in for another fun game

Be careful for that which you wish. A&M, for example, must play in T-town after beating Bama last year. The last time this scenario played out the score was 59-0. This could easily be the score again.

Texas only lost by one point, so I would guess the Sabanator would be more gentle. 45-7 sounds about right.

That game will not be affected because the series ends prior to 2025. So that game will be played as scheduled in 2023.

Well unless Sarkisian calls a press conference and says Saban "needed to be popped on the behind" and "thinks he's God" a la Jimbo Fisher earlier this year, I think the circumstances will be a little different. Also, didn't Alabama beat A&M in 2013, the year before the 59-0 game in Tuscaloosa in 2014.

I hope this is your prediction. Texas saw a lot of these last week too

Matt Moscona
@MattMoscona
LSU Exec. Deputy AD Verge Ausberry confirms to me that LSU will lose the OU home-and-home series in 2027 and 2028.

He says they have already been working on non-conference options to replace OU. Says he expects to play a P5 school regardless of SEC schedule model.

Every other year for a long time. Likely y’all get the first matchup in BR.

OU and LSU are going to be in the same division so why bother when they are gonna play anyway.

This move tells me 2 things that powers to be appear to know already:
The move of OU and Texas will be next year
We will stay with an east and west division.

You’ve a source for any of the division prognostication?

OU LSU simply cancelling the H&H doesn’t indicate anything along those lines either way.

To me this doesn’t indicate anything about divisions , unless we are going to be in the east which would be great ……

Do you all think we will be in the east division????

With the short notice from the SEC that the series w/OU would most likely be canceled, UGA was having difficulty finding a replacement; however, they did and made that announcement right after the SEC made its announcement.

UGA will play Ball State in Athens on September 9, 2023, to replace the road game vs. Oklahoma.

Y'all voted against having an OOC game in 2020.

So doesn’t sec have future game schedule problems? If sec goes from 8 to 9 conf games (the rumors) that means every sec team has to canx 1 OOC game. Thats a ton of contracts and so much money to be paid for cancelling games?

Thats why I think the move is in 24 or even 25. There is so much work to do.

So who's moving to the East with Auburn? Bama's game with Texas next year is still on.

Nah, just move Aub and Bama to the East, Mizzou to the West. Stay at 8 conference games, no reason to change until the CFP committee says so.

Got to love how OU is spinning replacing UGA with SMU as a top notch opponent.

Keeping up with their murderers row of non conference.

Next year is

Arkansas St
SMU
@ Tulsa

I wonder if they can handle that before the gauntlet of the B12?
