re: “Modern Football”

Here’s what the SEC has but the BIG 12 doesn’t have is athletes that can run sideline to sideline, and teams that dominate at the line of scrimmage. I’ve been watching a lot of BIG 12 football it reminds me of 6A Texas High School Football where it looks like 7 on 7 football, A&M brought the Mike Leach Air Raid Attack in 2012 to the SEC and defenses had trouble now some defenses had some success against it, but any Defense in the SEC can shut down that offense with tape. Now you see teams running it and along with the Spread Offense creating bad mismatches for defensive players that can’t cover.
I wonder if anyone that had an SAT and ACT scores higher than those didn’t get accepted into a Ivy League school?

There was this one girl here in The DFW area that had 1550 SAT and a 3.95 GPA but didn’t get accepted into USC, Stanford, Harvard or the Ivy League Schools, she got waitlisted by Rice and then accepted to Texas now she’s at Arizona State. Anyone with a SAT between 1090-1390 could go to Texas Tech, OU, or A&M, When I graduated in 2019 overwhelmingly a lot of people in my class were going to Tech, and it’s hard to get into Texas you need a SAT like 1470.

Dallas and Atlanta are kinda of similar, I don’t listen to country music but Fort Worth is for Country Music than Dallas with people out there with the Cowboy Culture but anyway Both Dallas and ATL are similar

Both Cities are Blue obviously

Both Cities have A lot of Fortune 500 companies

Highland Park/University Park and Buckhead without the crime are similar with old money and Rich folks

Plano, Frisco, Allen, McKinney, Alpharetta, Marietta, Roswell and Sandy Springs are all similar with good K-12 schools, McMansions and Karens

ATL is SEC with UGA, Auburn, Bama, Florida and Tennessee alums

Dallas is still BIG 12 but when OU and TX come it’s SEC with lots of OU, TX, Arkansas and A&M alums in DFW

The old Stadium design looked like your average size BIG 12 stadium

And the current one looks a bigger version of Eagle Stadium in Allen, Texas
All of the tax payers in Allen, Texas would lose their sh*t
Isn’t every game with all the Texas schools a big game?
He’s from Houston before he came to Allen he went to school in Houston before transferring to Allen then after Chad Morris left he transferred to a school in Katy.
Your right on the everything We always go hard for the Dallas Kids with Norman being close to Dallas , since TCU is in Fort Worth we’ve gotten a few from there but some go to TCU, the Big Name Players in Texas will go to the Big 4 schools I’ve seen Jaxson Smith-Njigba from Rockwall, or Jeff Okudah from Grand Prairie go to Ohio State, Cade Klubnik being in Texas’s Backyard in goes to Clemson. LSU and Y’all go hard for the Houston Talent I’d say the advantage would go to LSU with Baton Rouge close to Houston by a couple of Hours and with many alumni and Louisiana kids living in Houston.
Kansas State views us as their Super Bowl they’ll show up to play their best game and be back to losing like Tulane the next week
I don’t know when the lease for Cotton Bowl Stadium Expires but I guarantee Jerry Jones would want that game at his place
South Dallas is wack but sometimes we play at 2:30 afternoon
Yeah I’ve noticed they’ll get up for big time games like Alabama and OU in Dallas but after that they just drop off from there
What was Les Miles thinking back then
They got the players it’s Bill O’Brien running that Texans offense
The players are gonna feel different with the grind of the SEC compared to the BIG 12 because they’re not use it like that.
I look at A&M in year one with Manziel that were dominate, year two had 4 loses Manziel’s last year then year three was when it kicked in

If that’s the case I guarantee next year it’s on that means Texas-Alabama in Tuscaloosa next year could be scrapped as well

I thought last year that game was gonna happen after not being played in 2020
Lol I’m saying Arkansas should play A&M on each other’s home fields and when Texas arrives that game between Texas and Arkansas should be played at Cowboys stadium the Southwest Classic instead of y’all playing A&M there.
