Sources: The SEC has directed Georgia and Tennessee to not play their home-and-home non-conference series against Oklahoma. The Bulldogs had OU scheduled in '23 and '31. The Vols’ 2020 game in Norman was cancelled amid COVID and was expected to be made up down the line.

LSU has home and home with Oklahoma in 2027 and 2028
So I guess those are in limbo as well

With larger conference though, is it possible LSU could still play OU as a non conf game in those years?

I don't see LSU OU being a permanent rival so they likely won't play back to back years, maybe SEC coordinates one of those games as a sec game.

I wonder about LSU's series with OU in 2027 and 2028?

And OU is already scheduling at least one home and home in the SEC teams place

The more that I look at, it really means nothing about going to the SEC before 25. It is just cleaning up the home and home series' I am leaning toward it won't happen until 25

Maybe it's an indication of who else is going to be in OU's pod?

So basically SEC is telling its members to cancel OOC games with future members. Makes sense.

Also, if we are moving to 9 conference games, it doesn't make sense to play Texas or Oklahoma in a "non-conference game" (i.e. not part of the 9-game SEC slate).

Alabama has Oklahoma in 32/33, I imagine that will change as well.

They are canceling series where the return game is after 2025. This provides no new info.

I hope we get to play soon. I have a buddy that is an LSU alumni and offered to have us down for our first game at LSU. Really looking forward to it.

I'd be very bummed if the game in Tuscaloosa was scrapped next year. I've never been to Bryant-Denny, and if the game is half as entertaining as the one on Saturday just was, then we should be in for another fun game.

Not going to happen. Hell I doubt UCLA makes a return trip. We currently have both them and USC (vegas game) scheduled in 2024. I hope we play them both.

Then it would have been cancelled last year. Also there was talk from both OU and UGA about moving to a neutral site. The sec stepped in and said cancel it.
