LSU was the 6th most viewed team on television last year, in a year they went 7-6.

Youre delusional if you think those are the best deals LSU would get.

Think NDs deal with NBC. Someone would absolutely pick us up. And LSU would have zero trouble picking up a full schedule every year.

There is zero chance the Big 10 would take LSU. Now, I'm sure the ACC has already called to extend an invite, but I would think LSU would test out operating as an independent.
They would be better suited to be independent or go to the Big 12. Because if LSU did get kicked out, the SEC would immediately take 2-3 ACC schools. Probably FSU, Clemson and North Carolina

Will be great viewership for those streaming services then

You think ESPN/ABC would continue showing y’all after its cash cow kicked you to the curb?

There's no chance LSU is leaving the conference. They make too much money off of us and we make too much money off of them.

LSU isn’t going to test shite out. We’re going to stay right here in the SEC and there’s nothing the SEC can do about it.

The SEC is as powerless as the NCAA now and they know it.

Y'all said this about the last guy with no title in a decade+ of coaching. Nobody was scared then, either.

SEC and there’s nothing the SEC can do about it.
Cant file a TRO and force teams to play you though. Each school can stand to lose one televised game this year. LSU would be losing 9 weeks of television revenue and the Baton Rouge economy would be losing tens of millions of dollars with no home SEC football games.

Let me guess though. You think y’all would sue institutions individually for “damages”

Yes. I think they would definitely keep LSU under the Disney umbrella.

Do you really think that would happen?

I admit, i wandered over the Tiger Rant and it is hilarious that people think Ole Miss is behind all this. Do you people really think Alabama, Texas, Georgia, UT, Oklahoma, and Auburn are going to make any decisions based on what Ole Miss says or does. They obviously know our AD and President would be biased from the whole Lane fiasco. Think this is bigger than just Lane and football.

The private equity, Lane, Will Wade, Ausberry, Landry.... this is a bunch of schools tired of having to deal with the negativity LSU brings the conference.

When Lane gets suspended and LSU gets hit with a $25 million fine Jimmy Sexton will find him a new landing spot.

Buddy I know you’re excited but you need a psychiatrist if you think that’s happening.

I 100% think it’s possible if Thursday goes against the SEC. It’s what got Texas Tech to back down in their whole debacle.

I don’t think LSU will be kicked out of the conference truly but schools refusing to play against them? I absolutely think that could and would happen

Can't say that I've ever watched any of his press conferences.

But I do read news blurbs on basically all the SEC teams just to keep up generally with the conference.

And we know this is a foreign concept to you as an LSU fan, but some people choose to do the right thing even if it costs them some money

Always shocks me when a Bama fan says something overly ironic like this.

I really don’t think you guys realize the draw is the SEC. You exist in the SEC but the draw will always be the conference. Notice how Texas and A&M’s numbers dwarf yours?
