Kelly also beat Beamer in the one good year that USC has had with him.

Only with a huge assist from the refs.

This isn’t a thing. What makes you think Nix will last longer than Daniel’s when Nix has the worse injury history?

Daniels plays reckless and takes more big hits than Nix so a shorter career is to be expected. And the Redskins absolutely ruin QBs.

Great stat to show your work. Sounds like you have some unconscious bias for black qbs who run. There’s a new Coach, GM, owner, and team name in Washington so whatever happened to RG3 can’t be assumed for Daniel’s but both are black so I see where you’re going with that.

Are you a millennial or a zoomer? I swear those two groups just don’t seem capable of thinking and reasoning without a peer reviewed study telling them what to believe.

Because you can watch him play going back to his time at LSU and before to establish this pattern if you don’t want to watch him in the NFL.

He’s pretty good at not taking big hits even when he doesn’t slide or get out of bounds. Bo Nix has one surgically repaired ankle Daniels has none. It was a big hit that broke his ankle.

Please, Vols. Explain to us again how Fat Josh is every bit as good as Kirby. We hear it each year headed into our game with y'all, but the results never bear out the way Tenn8ssee would have you believe based on irrational hype.

Hey hey hey... it looks to me like Heupel still has a chance to rattle off 43 in a row to equal Kirby's record through 73 games.

Yes, and the that had nothing to do with us losing our starting QB and everything to do with Kelly’s coaching prowess.

Sure it does! “Sweep the leg!” Yes Sensai!

So he’s a definite fixture in the playoffs right? Year 3 with those accomplishments in his 1st 2 years to build off was crazy right? Back to back 9-3 seasons with loaded LSU rosters going into year three means the sky is the limit for him….

Wait, nope 8-4 is the best he has and was never in contention for a playoff spot?

Kelly
Year 1 - 10-4 (6-2) - SEC Championship Appearance
Year 2 - 10-3 (6-2)
Year 3 - 7-4 (4-3)

Heupel
Year 1 - 7-6 (4-4)
Year 2 - 11-2 (6-2)
Year 3 - 9-4 (4-4)
Year 4 - 9-2 (5-2)

Looks pretty similar to me

The only difference between Kelly and Heupel, this season, is that Tennessee got the easier SEC draw.

Ole Miss / A&M / USCe > Georgia / Kentucky / MS State

So LSU optimism about the future is bright too? Because I’m looking at the Vols future and thinking a staff change at DB and there is no reason the Vols shouldn’t be a better team next year. Outside the Milton year I believe Heupel has exceeded expectations. Do you feel that way about LSU and Kelly?

LSU’s roster has been far from loaded. Worst D-line talent in 30 years. Worst secondary talent in 25 years. Yes…. That is due to asst coach hiring decisions by Kelly when first hired. But… LSU’s roster has been bottom 1/2 of the SEC in terms of talent.

70% blue chip ratio… 8th best in the country. No way you just said the roster was the issue.
