Gotta be honest around 2010(what I would consider height of sec football) I would never have guessed that Kentucky could ever have the longest tenured sec coach.

I believe it’s because they collectively gave up on football.

A couple of 10-win seasons damn near gives a Kentucky coach a lifetime contract.
I honestly thought they were getting up to that USCe point where they would be a perennial 8+ win team.

Mark Stoops has the best FB contract in America. They make a bowl game, he gets another year on his contract.

It doesn’t feel like Bryant was there for 8 years.
