I'd say its pretty hard to believe. You'd think at some point they'd run into a win over a #1 team in their history

you'd think they'd have lucked into a trip to ATL at some point as well - but then you'd have forgotten they are Ole Miss

Not reading this so sorry if already posted. Ole Miss has never beaten State, LSU, and Alabama in the same year.

I am an LSU fan and I still can't believe we won a NC in 07 while losing 2 games.

Also oddly it never rains in Tiger Stadium

In 2008, LSU went 1-3 in SEC home games.

Ole Miss, Mississippi State, and Southern Miss were all ranked in the top 25 at the same time.

Florida has been in the sec championship game 10 out of its 19 years.

Of those ten they have played either Bama or Arkansas 9 of those times and Auburn once.

And the East holds a 11 to 8 record over the West. 7 of those are UF

What is the story behind it? I know they didn't play for the SECCG, but why? Or why did they hang the sign?

I'm guessing OM finished with the same record as LSU, but LSU held the head to head tie breaker.
