If given no choice but to decide between W. Virginia and Virginia. I would take W. Virginia before their uppity neighbors.

No doubt. They bring the rabid fans. SEC all the way.

I continue to throw my support in for Tulane, Rice, and SMU for the creation of a Magnolia division.

You have already destroyed the Big 8, SWC, and Big 12. The SEC does not need your opinion on what needs to be done.

Blacksburg aligns more with SEC culture - VPI would be the school to consider if one from Virginia is added -
First is true, but VA Tech would be maybe MSU level in the SEC. UVA is at least good in other sports.

Sorry guys, its just the Sips just jump right in and act like they have been here for years and it makes me cranky. It is kind of like someone coming over to your home for the first time and telling you what you need to change.
kind of like you weirdo mother frickers have done for the last 12 years?
as bad as UT fans can be as far as arrogance, you mother frickers take the cake.
oh and fyi...for the most part yall produce book smart engineers who suck major arse when it comes to actually getting shite done in the field.
frick A&M....talk about a school that doesnt fit in.

exactly
i would rather see us take FSU, Clemson, UNC, NC State or Duke, but if we are going to take one from Va, take UVA...might be more liberal but overall a great school who competes in baseball and basketball. If you are going to bring in a MSU level football program, like both in VA would be, at least make sure they have great academics, are the flagship, and can compete in other sports.

Virginia Tech may be acceptable. With it being in Blacksburg, it fits closer with the SEC culture.

I don’t know why people keep fixating on fb instead of other areas.

We expand anymore and we might as well split from all other teams and the ncaa. Otherwise we won't get to play certain match ups very often.

The only teams that will ever be added to the SEC in the future are teams that would cause national eyeballs AND SEC fans to tune in for for their 2nd or 3rd game of the day.
That’s a small list (not counting B10):
1. ND
2. Clemson
3. FSU
4. UNC
That’s the list. Only those 4.

Not sure why this topic keeps coming up again and again and again. My guess is the OP is just getting senile and can't remember when it came up two weeks ago.
SEC probably will not expand anymore. It is all a matter of money. The SEC is not going to bring in a school that is going to drain funds from the other members because their fans can't support them at the SEC level. We already have a few of those and will not add anymore. The schools that could at least support themselves, like OSU or possibly Clemson, are happy with the situations they are in and are not looking to make things harder on themselves.
My 2 cents..

Travis County (Austin, TX)

Brazos County (College Station, TX)

Brazos County voted more liberal than the State as a whole.
But did it ever occur to anyone that ex-students may not live in the same county as their university?
Mind-boggling, isn't it. Argument killing, but still mind boggling.
SEC will tire of this toxic obsession sooner rather than later. Big Ten will love you and Mizzou.
