Things have a tendency of reverting back to the norm.

I don't know man. What you just posted is a pretty depressing story for UT football. Basically UT has been in a 15 year period that is as bad as it has ever been. That's kind of a long time. So the question is whether things will revert back to the norm OR is this the new norm?

You could be right...let's look at Bama's worst 5 stretches...

1951-1960 - 0.453
1949-1958 - 0.458
1948-1957 - 0.463
1950-1959 - 0.463
1947-1956 - 0.513

What do these have in common? 4 of the 5 include years under Bear Bryant. Bama's stretch of stinking came from having a pretty bad coach (Red Drew) followed by a horrible coach (Jennings Whitworth). From 1954 through 1957, they won 8 games, lost 29 and tied 4. They seemed to bounce back ok. UT is coming off of their Drew/Whitworth era...who knows how it will turn out, but they would be hard pressed to be any worse.

Yep. It took literally took cancer and protests for the Vols to beat us

True...but it wasn't Pinkel's cancer...it was the cancer of UT hiring Dooley and Jones.

It ain’t the 50s anymore where the blue bloods could have 250 scholarship players on their rosters just to keep other programs from signing them.

It’s a completely different animal these days. Scholarship limits have brought parity to the game far more than at any other time in history.

If I remove those 18 wins (literally just the wins) Mizzou would still have a better record than UK

...and yet, you beat us the first 2 yrs you were in the SEC, when we were going 2-10, and havent won a damn game since. Sucks to be you.

Edit: Also includes Missouri Big 12 games (2010-2011) where they compiled an 18-8 record.

Seems you were only interested in looking at the decade, which is fine, but why not compile records since Mizzou's start in the SEC? Would their record dip from 70-46 (.603) to 52-38 (.577)?

Part of the reason this is one of Tenn worst stretches is the new normal of losing to Missouri, Vandy and SC... 0-6 vs Mus!

In the meantime mUSChamp was responsible for four Top 10 recruiting classes while at UF and 14 draft picks.

Yeah but what was his record? What were his staff hires like? Muschamp's a good dude and he builds programs the right way, without cutting corners. But he did not do a good job hiring assistants and winning games at Florida. I don't know why Carolina fans get butthurt over that; it's just the truth.

Man oh man do y’all have a karma kickback coming from mUSChamp and it is going to be glorious.

Lol no we don't and you're kidding yourself if you believe in this shite.

2018 Football Attendance (Total/Average)

Tennessee - 650,887/92,984
Missouri - 360,261/51,466

At the pinnacle of your performance and at the depths of ours, you still are an afterthought when it comes to college football attendance.

Agenda's. Everyone's got one. The missouri obsession over UK appears to be entering it's 8th year.

Is that the moral equivalent of “uf posters” being desperate to tell South Carolina fans how bad mUSChamp is .... lulz?
