Not a fan of marshmallows so i will occasionally have a moon pie. Though I prefer the cherry RC to the original.

I've always thought moon pies are nasty, but that's just me. I'll take an RC though.
Anyone ever had Cheerwine soda? It's like a cherry coke. Anyway, it's really good and originated in North Carolina. If you like cherry soda, then give Cheerwine a try.

Translate this one… “She’s a mess.”

The vinegar crap is the original and it’s far better than the Kansas City seasoned ketchup they call BBQ sauce.
Texas brisket is incredible, wet Memphis ribs are the shite, and Carolina pork is where it’s at.

Central Market use to sell it. Maybe they still do.

How about adding “bless your/his/her heart” after insulting someone as if that makes it nicer

I agree, but good BBQ doesn't really need much of any kind of sauce. I'll baste my ribs if we gave company because most people like them sauced, but that's about it. I'll put enough on my pulled pork to remind me that it's there, but that's it. Good brisket doesn't need sauce.

Nothing beats central Texas style BBQ brisket. Burnt ends are heaven
I love brisket done right and very often, if I go to a BBQ joint that serves (good) brisket, I will order that, but let's be honest here, brisket is heavenly, but it's no more BBQ than chicken.
BBQ is pig meat, and we all know it to be true.

Memphis BBQ >> Kansas City BBQ
By a WIDE margin

Misconception about KC BBQ. Yes, we have plenty of sweet sauce, but the OG's in KC like Arthur Bryant's and Gate's do a vinegar based sauce as their main. KC does it all when it comes to sauce. And if you're ever up here, we judge mostly by the burnt ends

I grew up on those in west central Missouri. I’m going to have to head to the store after work. Great post!

I've never met a Klansman. In fact, the only person that I've ever known who even CLAIMED to have known a Klansman was an old dude from South Carolina. Maybe I just run in the wrong circles, but I don't really think the Klan is a thing....or hasn't been for at least 50 years.

At most restaurants I’ve been to here in Oklahoma, sweet tea is the standard. You have to order it unsweet if you want it that way (not sure why anyone would order it that way).
