So if he's not an idiot, explain the lack of foresight on Tuesday and Wednesday when Aleva was throwing out suggestions to play this game in BR or Gainesville and his only response was that it will be played on Saturday in Gainesville. Erring on the side of caution would have been to tell both sides to get ready for Sunday or Monday game and if the storm is too bad then cancel but instead they canceled all together. Not smart and Florida WILL pay for this one way or another because the truth is the truth and facts are facts no matter how anyone on the FL side tries to spin this. It's on them and the SEC, FL for not telling the SEC we want to do anything possible to get the game played and the SEC for not making FL at least have a plan to play Sunday or Monday. Once the storm passed LSU would be there and play. The only thing that could have happened is that LSU would have traveled for nothing if then canceled. This situation is ridiculous and makes the SEC and FL look terrible imo.

Nah, it should've been moved like every other time this scenario has played out. There was a precedent, but for some reason Sankey and Florida ignored that precedent (or simply refused it).

The precedent that the game is going to be played some other time than that weekend? I agree. Happens all the time. Why LSU fans are whining about precedent being followed is baffling.
