left off Moorhead at MSU.

I’m willing to see what he can do with his players. He was stuck with offensive players recruited by 4thQ Spectator Muffin. He has pulled some great talent in since he arrived. Waiting to see if Tommy Touchdown lives up to the NFL scouts admiration.

Internet commentators on the rant do not reflect the fan base as a whole- especially those on the Rant. If that was the case, LSU would have to switch coaching staffs between drives.

He has a few disappointing seasons, a few bad ones, you are ready to see him go, and then he pulls an SEC championship appearance out of his bag of tricks

He's had one 7-6 season, three 8-5 seasons and two >=10 win seasons.

Chad just checked for TP before sitting down and cracking open the sports page. He hasn't even read the first article or thought about checking his Facebook on the throne. Hell the cap is still on the air freshener. Seats not even warm yet.

It depends on how we are defining hot seat. If it's just likely to get fired with a pretty bad season, I'd put Gus at the top. If he goes 6-6 or worse, he gone. But if we are talking "most likely to actually have the kind of season that would get them fired", I'd go:

1. Luke
2. Muschamp
3. Gus

And not a whole of hot seats after that.

We are Arkansas. We will be patient until coach has proven to be a dumbass, extend his contract one more time, give him 2 more years, then fire him

I never liked the Morris hire. I don’t think his style will translate well in the SEC.

That being said, you have to give a guy at least 3 years and see where he is trending at that time. No way he’ll be fired.

Gus is not being fired. AU has had the hardest schedule the past 5 years and Gus is the only school to win the west and beast Saban. UGA, LSU, and UT is like 0-25 against him.

I mean it’s the same system Clemson has still used since he left.

Any offense works great with the right players. Our problem is attracting players like DeAndre Hopkins, Sammy Watkins, Deshaun Watson, etc. here. His style is a spread offense focusing on speed which is the exact opposite philosophy that Bielema had who people said also wouldn’t work. He didn’t, but his 2015 offense was outstanding so it’s all about talent regardless of style IMO. Bigger problem to me is fixing the defense which has been awful for 4 years now and will probably be Morris’ downfall if anything.

Not sure why you'd say that. It's similar to Petrino and we won 10 and 11 games with him

I'm pretty sure ground and pound doesn't work for us. Should we just give up and punt on first down?

Halfway through the season, when we have lost some games that "we should have won" and the team is blaming each other, we will see how awesome this 3-headed coach thing will be.

Gus is not getting fired, the buyout is too high. The Boosters would pay it, but those are also the same Boosters that likely have been putting up $$ to get that new football facility built and Gus pledged his own $2MM for that facility.

Gus will get by with another 8 win season while navigating a brutal schedule with a green QB. Then he'll make promises to get things turned around in 2020 while he has to replace his entire oline.

UGA is not 0-for Saban. I'll have you know, UGA is 2-8 against Saban at LSU and at Alabama.

Not much, but there is that. Saban should feel bad that Mark Richt owns both of those wins.
