Now do that list in the last 50 years. Whole bunch of teams would drop down to zero.

The last time a program other than:

Alabama
Auburn
Florida
Georgia
LSU
Tennessee

won the SEC, was Ole Miss in 1963.

The SEC needs wrestling, then you'll see Mizzou without the goose egg.

Used to have it. Up until the early 80s I think. I had a couple of relatives who wrestled for Auburn.

I think back before the SEC Vandy was actually a powerhouse

Vandy has 17 seasons with 1 or 0 losses. The most recent was 1932 (the year before the SEC began).

Robert Neyland was hired at Tennessee in 1926 with the specific goal of beating Vanderbilt.

know the Bumbles were the big dog in Georgia back then but Georgia claims the 1896 Championship along with 1920 and 1921 in the SIAA. Of course the Bumbles claim 20 and 21 as well.

Nobody should be claiming titles that didn't exist at the time.

I get your technical point but be real, in the early days of USA CFB the Ivy League was the SEC of that era. You can stick your head in the sand a say no but a reasonable person would match like for like as best as possible to get the best and most balanced history.

Okay? Not sure what this has to do with
SIAA or Southern Conference "claimed" titles and I'm very familiar with the Ivy League and it's history (my brother played at Penn) and I'm probably one of the few on this board that's been to a Ivy League game.

BTW I have zero issues with recognized national titles that even pre date AP

When Auburn is good, they are very good. Vandy will never know what that feels like.

Smells like a rivalry.

Have at least won their division

South Carolina 0 - this is a surprise that HBC did not produce more when he was there...

Vanderbilt 0 - Baseball and helps conference overall GPA

Texas A&M 0 - just LOL
