There is a program from the SEC however, (besides UK of course) that:
* Has 3 NBA Hall-of-Famers
* 4 CBB Hall-of-Famers
* Gone to 4 Final Fours and 6 Elite Eights and at least 8 Sweet 16s.
Arkansas, Florida, and Tennessee probably come close to us. All behind UK of course.

However, media drives the bus these days and that means year round content to dish out 24 / 7 / 365. Live content is more valuable than replays from days gone by. Is what it is. That means as a conference we need year round sports to feed the beast. You may not care for the other sports, but without them the media would dry up 9 months out of the year and that is bad for all of us.

Hahahaha South Carolina actually just changed their acronym to "UofSC" because two better universities already held "Carolina" (UNC) and "USC" (SoCal).
UNC is better than UofSC in the following:
- Academics
- Prestige
- Endowment
- Graduate school placement
- Post-grad employment
- Athletics
- Campus and college town
UofSC is a back-up school for SC kids who are rejected from superior out-of-state schools. UNC is a top choice for private school kids from around the country, which is reflected in their Ivy League-level admissions stats. UofSC accepts well over 50% of their applicants lol

True or false:
But-for football, SEC Rant would not exist.

This Board exists because of SEC football. It would not exist (and certainly would not have hundreds of thousands of users) if it was dedicated to SEC basketball or SEC baseball.
To the rest of you halfwits, I have no axe to grind.
My undergraduate alma mater is the king of college football.
My law school alma mater is better than every SEC basketball program, including UK.
Again, the SEC is the P12 of college basketball. The other P5 conferences laugh at you all in the same way that you all mock P12 football.
