Is really good and pretty balanced this year, but we are not going to get the recognition we deserved due to not having blue blood names. College basketball is an odd sport.

A lot of average to above average teams but not any elite ones.

Yeah, people saying the SEC is really down this year are wrong.

True we are looking at 50/50 for today. Not too bad for a conference not known for basketball.

I agree. I thought it was premature our own fans shitting on the SEC. Our league is legit, minimum of 6 teams in tournament.

If we end 50-50 . That’s a big win for SEC. we are matched up against one of the better basketball conferences in country.

A lot of youth, but this years teams are average at best.

Minus LSU, they won't be one of them

I think top to bottom we are a good conference. All of these teams we are playing are thought highly of on a national level. We are hanging with all of them. The SEC is fairly long and athletic this year (minus LSU). We have a team that as skilled and talented, but not well coached. We just aren’t nearly as athletic as other teams in the conference.

UK is down and that means the rest of us have to step up biggie...the tough games were mostly roadies and that's hard to win in hostile territory.

You'll find that most of those fans are fans of the underachieving SEC teams this year...not a surprise.

I think SEC basketball is underrated. I believe the media wants us to be bad because we're so good in football and baseball.

Eh, I will be honest, feels like Baylor and Gonzaga vs everyone else at this point.

There is good and not so good in every conference. Post season success will depend on matchups and overall health.

Only Kentucky is down this year. Which I guess by default drags down the entire conference. There are some good teams in the SEC.

In our game, the refs seemed pretty hostile against Herb Jones. Even the announcers talked about it several times in the 2nd half. They couldn't even pretend what they'd call a foul wasn't balanced.

Still had the chance to win, and should've. But Oklahoma is a damn good team who played harder most of the game.

First 3 years the Big 12 won. SEC has won 2 of the last 4 with 1 tie. The conference has gotten MUCH better at basketball.

Sounds pretty much just like the CFP. No?
