Agreed it is the best site by far. Only downside of Nashville is the ticket prices get inflated far beyond anything reasonable by UK fans since it’s so close.
It is actually cheaper to fly to the site, stay at a nice downtown hotel and sit in in good downstairs seats in Tampa/Kansas City etc. than it is to drive to Nashville and sit in premium lowers. You are looking at a couple thousand books a piece for a decent seat in Bridgestone for the week.
A book for the week in Nashville in the first 15 rows is more expensive than any non Final Four NCAA Tourney book I have ever seen outside of the S16/E8 book when Tennessee/Michigan/UK/Louisville were the 4 sweet 16 teams in Indy 3 or 4 years ago.

Its a shame. I thought the SEC would be more considerate of fan safety. Do you know how many men are killed by roaming bachelorette parties each year? The number might surprise you.

Well, at least in SEC footprint.

Wish they could have figured out a way to do it in Mercedes Benz now that that's open in ATL. Would be epic

When the good Lord calls me home, let it be at the hands of a roaming bachelorette party in Nashville. I’m not sure how folks are dying but I’m willing to take a chance

I’ll never get why the SEC doesn’t rotate so more of their fans could go. Goes for all championships.
I wish the Baseball SEC tournament, SEC football championship and Basketball tournament would rotate near around the SEC.
New Orleans, Atlanta, Nashville, Houston, Birmingham and maybe Orlando and/or St. Louis.

That's too big.
The place would look empty.

Nashville is the perfect spot.

Not a fan of having it in one location without rotating. I enjoyed the days of the Tournament rolling from city to city back in the old days.
From 1985-1996, the SEC Tournament was held in 9 different cities in a span of 12 years: Atlanta (2x), Birmingham (2x), Lexington (2), Baton Rouge, Knoxville, Orlando, Nashville, Memphis, and New Orleans.
Several of those were held at campus sites, which is not realistic in today's world, but the SEC could still create a fun rotation so the Tournament doesn't become stale.
I'd like to see this rotation:
Dallas
Atlanta
Louisville
New Orleans
Greenville
Houston
Nashville
St. Louis
Tampa
Maybe sprinkle Nashville and Atlanta in there a couple of extra times, but I like a variety. I also think the SEC should approach cities like Louisville and Greenville and convince them to bid. Those would be great locations.

They have a way of turning off the lights in upper deck area so it would just be lower area basically.
Originally when they were planning for Atlanta United FC to play there they were going to sell any upper deck seats because they thought there would be no demand, turns out they can sell out some games

Because no one goes except UK fans.

Better than Atlanta
They have to keep it close to UK fans
I wish it would come more to New Orleans but can't say it will get the support it would elsewhere.

I would imagine they'd do half house seating like the dome if they ever did basketball there.
Phillips (State Farm now) looks damn good after the remodel though.
Im sure the Atlanta Sports Council perhaps made a bid and will probably get the ACC tourney in the near future.

i don't want to trigger anyone but I feel that a New MLS, especially one that is dominating/en route to a championship, in the city of Atlanta (so they are all ATL fans)
Would sell out more than the SEC Basketball tournament.

SO they kicked out the women from Nashville and other than Tampa bay for 2022 the men will be in nashville through 2035. Women are welcomed in Little Rock
