Ask the Auburn fan who started watching basketball in 2017 and felt the need to say “nuh uh!!!”

He posted official standings. Enjoy your L.

Now, using this 3 way tie breaker scenario, can you list the standings in order?

Considering two of the three teams tied for first place currently have not played one another - using this as a tiebreaker today doesn't make sense

Those aren’t official standings. Sorry.

Those are unabridged standings that use overall record to differentiate between teams of the same conference record. A metric that isn’t official, isn’t used to name a regular season conference champion, and isn’t used as a tiebreaker for post season seeding.

Sorry.

You are not intelligent enough for me to continue responding to at this time.
It was over your head to start with. You posted this because you were called out and butt hurt because Bama wasn't #1. Now you can't explain your way out. But carry on. Keep listing what you don't count or care about in your list to make Bama #1 and how the sec doesn't know their system as good as you.

Sorry. That’s the way it works.

Bama - .667
Auburn - .500
USC - .000

TIA.

yeah.

Bama
Auburn
Carolina

but should UT win again it would get muddy.

carolina 1-1
Tennessee 1-1
Bama 2-2
Auburn 1-1

edit...didnt realize this was the second bama/auburn game

The SEC website. You just posted it. Where is there a caveat for two teams not playing each other?

The tiebreakers are based on the results/standings at the end of the regular season - not the records on Feb 7th...

the tiebreakers are there for seeding for the SEC tournament

Hypothetically if the SEC regular season ended today, Alabama, Auburn, and South Carolina would all be co-champions

( but I'm sure you already know that)

Right. We’ve well established that there is a 3-way tie for first. This thread derailed into an argument because an Auburn fan (you) didn’t like a list of standings that correctly showed Bama at the top for post season-seeding.

That was very assumptive of you to think I didn't like the standings that you posted. I never said I didn't like them, I never implied that I didn't like them... I simply posted the current standings listed on the official conference website.

Right

But yet here you are on the Rant. Saying these are the “real standings”. And the standings posted in another thread “aren’t the real standings”

Interesting

It's a moot point because Auburn and South Carolina have not even played yet

This is correct.

The dork thinks it’s all about percentages. The tie breaker scenario comes in play for the seeding of the SEC Tournament when teams are tied at the end of the regular season.

I think I’ve posted this about 3 different times now.

But you don’t read, so idk what you want me to say at this point. It kinda seems like you’re trying to argue with me by repeating exactly what I’ve already stated.
