He turned around and yelled at his right fielder who saved two runs. Not to mention the guy taking 8 minutes to slow walk and gear up after not being hit by a pitch.

Something like each inning you’re competing to see who wins the point for that inning (sort of like sets in tennis) but if the teams tie then nobody gets the point. Normal baseball rules apply to how runs and hits are scored but outs have to be achieved with trick plays or by fans catching foul balls). Pitcher also moves a lot faster because the game is on a clock (I believe) and they will pause the game intermittently for circus acts and guest appearances.
I get why some are curmudgeons about it but it’s a net positive for baseball and kids/families love it so that’s a good thing.
