Exactly what we wanted. Time to rest before a tournament that counts. I’ve seen so many teams play game after game and win the SEC tourney only to fizzle 4 days later due to exhaustion. 2021 Mississippi State bows out of the SEC tourney as fast as possible. Only to spend the next few weeks winning a national championship. Next year Ole Miss does the same thing.

Playing another weekend series doesn't actually change anything. It's not that black and white. 9 of the 13 SEC teams were eliminated in regionals last year and multiple lost early in SECT. There is no pattern or correlation.

Today is one of the greatest days on the sports calendar all year as we get the SEC and ACC baseball tournament semifinals. Enjoy it!

Gators are the only team to really give us any issues. Hopefully we have something for them this game

I like the pitching matchup a lot more on this one but then Vigue has had his wildcard moments; pitched incredibly wel vs them in Game 2 earlier this year but has also had meltdowns and early exits.

I have no idea who is gonna pitch for the Hogs today. Our whole pitching operation kinda relies on Dietz going 6+ innings 
On the one hand, we’re kinda playing with house money at this point and should just get some guys some reps. But at the same time, our RPI is creeping up into a legitimate host position. A win over Top 5 RPI Auburn would probably help..
