I hate seeing a Central Flawda boy who is that good going to LSU. But what are you going to do. LSU is a baseball crazy place and I can see the attraction.

Gonna go down as the best to ever play at lsu which is crazy. Dudes just on another level. It’s been fun to watch the last 2.5 years. Kentucky walked him to load the bases to face Tommy white with the series on the line

Just imagine the ERAs if the league didn't have so many pitching injuries. Nearly every team is missing at least one expected weekend contributor including multiple teams with weekend starters out or key bullpen guys out. The depth is pretty impressive with the league still putting up decent numbers and everyone facing SEC hitters that are destroying non-conference opponents.

That is such a tough spot to be in. Pick your poison, cause their ain't no tonic.

Agree. I think UF has a pretty good pitching staff (even though the bullpen melts occasionally) and we are middle of the pack.

I wonder how many more games Ole Miss wins with their full rotation? Gotta be a handful at least.

I would have liked to see LSU with a healthy Grant Taylor starting Saturdays and Floyd on Sundays. I also was excited to see Edwards and Shores develop more.

Hey Porter, good series this weekend man. I think my nose is still bloody from that 9th inning on Friday.

I’m just surprised we got a win

Georgia usually gives us fits even when it looks like you shouldn’t on paper. I am still a little salty that Covid cancelled everything the day before #2 Georgia was heading to play #1 Florida in 2020. That would have been an epic showdown.

Petry 11 HR in 14 games is stout.

He has more home runs than we have as a team. It's absurd.

Glad to see Mississippi state has joined to single digit ERA club but in all honesty, LSU’s pitching has struggled a ton too. This league will hurt if your team is off just a bit

And just a freshman. So two more years of watching him trot around the bases.

4th in ERA and 10th in average was pretty much the polar opposite of what I expected coming in after the OOC schedule. We completely flipped strengths once conference play started.

I'm just waiting to see where Charlie Condon transfers after Josh Brooks finally makes the right call and dumps Stricklin after the season.

Saves
Arkansas 6
Florida 4
Kentucky 3
Alabama 3
Georgia 3
Auburn 2
LSU 2
South Carolina 2
Texas A&M 1
Mississippi State 1
Vanderbilt 1
Missouri 1
Ole Miss 1

Can't imagine being halfway through the season and not having a single save.
