Thats what i have been trying to preach to our fan base. Georgia arkansas ole miss texas a&m hell even tenner could all beat us. It’s baseball and not as easy to measure and predict as football. Their hopes will get shattered one way or another

I never said we'd sweep series. But I don't see anyone beating Ginn or Small. Small worries me more than Ginn, but Ginn may not lose a game this year.

We hear this same shite from state baseball fans every single year. At this point, it’s pretty comical

It’s college baseball you dumb frick. Don’t be surprised when LSU wakes up this weekend and wins the series.

Yup, you’re new.

We won in Starktown last year. And have won 4 of the last 5 series vs little MSU including a sweep.

I don't know about that. MSU got a tough break with the schedule not playing UK or Missouri this year. ALL SEC schedules are brutal but there are various degrees of brutality. One or two injuries could destroy a good year.

Let's be honest, Small may have gotten the L, but the bullpen really lost that one for us.

With a full rotation from Auburn State would have lost 2 games this past weekend.

Small didn't get an L he had a 3 run lead when he was pulled. My point above is that a start by Small and Ginn isn't a guaranteed win.

source? You're just taking that win Friday night as a given and not an outlier? AU wasn't beating Ginn. Butch said as much himself.

Just curious what the feeling of coming back to win the series v/s LSU after the initial loss was like.

Well it felt great. Should have swept the series but Hess was unreal and LSU made an incredible defensive play when they needed it. It’s funny people keep referring to our saturdyabstarter who was CJ Smith because it’s iur Sunday starter, Tony Locey, who is typically a close second to hancock. Schunk as our closer also had a meh weekend relative to his typical output but bats came alive on Sunday

Would have said the same about Hancock who only gave up 2 hits and 1 run in 8 innings against LSU but you can’t anticipate the other starter having a career night and tour bats not being able to drive in a run on 8 hits.
