East -
1) Georgia: 5-1
2) Vanderbilt: 4-2
3) Tennessee: 2-4
4) Missouri: 2-4
5) South Carolina: 1-5
6) Florida: 1-5
7) Kentucky: 0-6

Wow. I dont even know what to say.

West -
1) Arkansas: 5-1
2) Texas A&M: 5-1
3) MSU: 4-2
4) Auburn: 4-2
5) LSU: 4-2
6) Ole Miss: 3-3
7) Alabama: 2-4

Well, that's more like it.

Thoughts -
Tennessee and Missouri each have conference record's of 2-4, and they are currently in third place in their division. 'Nuff said.

Arkansas' sec schedule seems to go in the order of increasing difficulty.

1st week - Missouri
2nd week - Alabama
3rd week - Ole Miss
4th week - Auburn
5th week - Vanderbilt
6th week - MSU

It's literally in order from weakest to strongest

That doesn't exist in the SEC West. We close at A&M then home vs LSU. That being said, Our schedule last year was even more brutal.

We played 4 top-10 teams on the road

1) Florida
2) Ole Miss
3) Georgia
4) LSU

We also played at State (4th place in the CWS)

Didnt mean easy I wasnt really specific. For most sec schools y’all got an easier pull than most. We get florida georgia and Tennessee from the east while still playing our normal west schedule (which is insane) right now the sec tournament and regular season champs might as well call it a natty. The sec is about as stacked as any conference and could put 5 in omaha if the ncaa allowed it

This season is somewhat of a reprieve for The Hawgs. Last season we had our West schedule plus road series at Florida and Georgia. We did not get to play Tennessee, Missouri, or Vanderbilt (the bottom three in the division)

You can play .500 ball in the west and be a good team.

The only series I could see us possibly losing is the @ Arky series, even though we swept them last year. We just have to be careful on Sundays.

I know. Alabama has a decent baseball team. I know we clown on them but they are not bad at all and are on the come up. Ole miss is probably your best bet at having the worst all around baseball squad in the west (yes I know they beat alabama in a series) but they came in with high expectations and are shitting the bed. A lot of the fan base there wants their coach fired too

Dude go watch georgia’s friday and Saturday starters. Those two alone could be decided going to extra innings tied at 0. They have a really good underrated team too.

We won't lose the series to Georgia, the only other series that worries me besides Arky is Ole Miss.

Wow. I didnt realize this is the new attitude of State fans. I could see MSU being overconfident and get swept by LSU this weekend. (and I think MSU is the best team in the country) People lose games. That's just how baseball works.

So, are there actual Georgia baseball fans around here?

Just curious what the feeling of coming back to win the series v/s LSU after the initial loss was like.

It's just been some time since we beat Bama in football, so I've lost what that feeling is like.
