LSU has a tendency to be more of a grower, and there's lot of season left.

Indeed, if you take the square root of the distance between home plate and the center field fence, then multiply the inverse of the hits:pitches ratio for the entire conference, add 2.34 for every day in April that ends in “y”, then divide by Planck’s constant, the result clearly points to our sweeping the next 7 series in conference.

I’m definitely feeling good about the rest of the year.

Think maybe you could go over to the Tiger Rant and attempt to explain this to the nancies over there declaring the season over? I swear my ex didn't complain that much during 16 hours of labor.

Please wait at least a week to get it back together, thanks

It's gonna be such a fun series. I'm looking forward to seeing on TV what this cathedral looks like that y'all had built. Too bad the Friday night game is the same time as LSU/Mich St game.

This loss to Mcneese is likely going to have them coming out fighting mad.

Honestly though as hot as our bats are right now it may not matter.

MSU fans are so new to winning that they don't understand "jinx".

No, were just are not ignorant enough to believe post on an anonymous message board effect play.

That is about the height of self-important delusion.

Would not surprise me one bit, we have a very long baseball history together.

It is the oldest real baseball rivalry in the SEC between the biggest and best baseball fanbases, fun will be had.

It's going to be a great test for our pitchers who have really come on the last 2 weekends. If/when our bats wake up, I think the flood gates may open. It's happened time and time again under Mainieri.

Might want to save this for after this weekend.

LSU has a tendency to be more of a grower, and there's lot of season left.

That, and it's a mid-week game, where they usually let younger guys get some action.

LSU will be in Omaha, most likely.

Georgia baseball fans what happened? Is GA Tech supposed to be pretty good?

Tech is good not great but has some solid bats and their midweek starter was able to hang in there an inning longer than outs which is all they needed. We led for 4 innings but things went off the rails tonight in the 5th when our strarter hit 98 pitches and we turned to the worst arms in our bullpen, exact same two guys who blew a 7 run lead to Ga Southern and haven’t really pitched outside of mop up duty since. Started throwing wild and walking guys and leaving balls up in the zone which Tech took quick advantage of. Game ended after 7 due to rain.

If there’s a take away it’s that we need Ryan Webb and Will Proctor back healthy so we have some serviceable bullpen arms left for the midweek tilt

MSU ended up winning with a lopsided score, but MS Valley State scored 3 runs in the first inning without getting a single hit. It was ugly.
