we turned to the worst arms in our bullpen, exact same two guys who blew a 7 run lead to Ga Southern and haven’t really pitched outside of mop up duty since

outsiders are going to look at the score and think "what's wrong with UGa, I thought yall had good pitching?" without realizing what you said. Those are probably the worst 2 pitchers we have on the roster that see any time and we are force to throw them midweek becuase of injuries. If htis was a weekend series those guys wouldn't be playing.

It sucks to lose at all, espcecially to tech, but I don't think this is some bad omen on our team or anything.

Honestly though as hot as our bats are right now it may not matter.

Yea I mean, it's a midweek game against a good team. LSU has lost midweek games to McNeese State and Northwestern State.

Losing to Tech on a Tuesday isn't a big deal at all.

Winning against this lesser competition does nothing if you win, but really hits ranking hard if you lose. Say bye top 25 ranking for some.

When it comes to mid-week games, playing good RPI teams is more important than the final score

It was on the road too. Would’ve been worse at home. Most important thing for us this week is taking 2 of 3 from Kentucky on the road and getting healthy for Vandy next weekend

LSU didn't just lose due to pitching. That's the difference in a good midweek loss and a bad midweek loss. If you get out-hit due to midweek pitching, then everything seems a little better. But LSU got 4 hit by McNeese State and lost 2-0, they can't blame this one on pitching. This was a bad loss, and kind of indicative of how their season is going, unfortunately.

We were talking about Georgia, but yea it's not a good loss. Still a mid-week loss, though they are starting to pile up a little.
