Just as long as you despise Kansas red legs and that mutha fricka Montgomery you're golden.
Eastern Tennessee? Did not know that. Our summer home is in Jonesborough ... TriCities.

I don't think many people realize that UGA was the first SEC program to win the baseball title. We were runner up in 2008 to Fresno.

Mizzou fans don't know a baseball from a poop swastica. This is just a troll thread with shiny bait that too many of yall took.
If yall want a more accurate ranking (looking at the last 19 years), here goes.

Missouri fan talking about baseball... conference play must not have started yet.

I'd rather be building a new stadium, and going to the CWS every decade since the 70s than only winning one cws in the 50s and be irrelevant forever.

I'd rather have a CWS title in my pocket while also having my home town professional team with 11 WS titles.
Starkville has no titles in anything ever right? Miss State is the only SEC program without an NCAA championship in any sport?
Tell me this isn't right...

This is the SEC. Win it all or go home right?
Yes, but apparently you did not read the fine print
As this is the SEC, you need to win it as a SEC member as the SEC was already formed (1932) when the CWS started (1947). Only a sham like the B1G would try and claim unearned conference credit like adding Rutgers just to say they played the first football game.
As active SEC members the list should read:
6 for Louisiana State
2 for South Carolina
1 for Vanderbilt
1 for Georgia
1 for Florida
That would make it the Big 5

I paraphrase, "one of the worst mistakes the B1G made was taking Nebraska into the conference because we destroyed them - they have no natural rivals in our league ... and not going after Kansas, K-State and Mizzou who would have been perfect fits in the B1G."
Pretty sure if he was a Michigan man he did not include K State as they are not AAU
As for the B1G and realignment it broke into 2 camps:
Camp A included Gordon Gee who wanted to destroy the Big 12 as they were the better sports league and had 7 AAU schools at the time that fit the B1G academic snobbery. Gee wanted to go from 11 to 14 with Nebraska, Kansas, and Missouri in the hope they could eventually land Texas and Oklahoma to get to 16.
Camp B wanted just Nebraska from the west and had dreams of breaking the ACC and landing the schools in the east and south where the growth was. Since this plan eventually included adding Notre Dame, it was the one that carried the action in the end.
Problem was, they were only able to land 1 ACC school while the ACC was able to raid the Big East for enough teams to actually make it a survivor where the B1G had envisioned it destruction. I think 2 things really stopped the B1G in their tracks in that the SEC supported keeping the ACC intact and not raiding it and the bigger issue was ESPN controlling the ACC and SEC and not wanting to lose the good schools to FOX.
When Virginia Tech did not move with Texas A&M - even tho there was big folks making it happen - it was pretty clear the ACC was going to survive and Slive & Co nabbed Mizzou while the B1G was distracted in the east. Pretty sure if Gee and his supporters had won Nebraska, Kansas, and Missouri would be in the B1G right now.
I do wonder where the Big 12 would be today if Gee had carried the day.
Big 12 in 2010
Texas
Texas A&M - SEC is where they wanted to be
Texas Tech
Baylor
Oklahoma
Oklahoma State
Kansas - B1G
Kansas State
Colorado - PAC is where they wanted to be
Nebraska - B1G
Missouri - B1G
Iowa State
Outside of Texas and Oklahoma the rest of the Big 12 would be a western version of the American and probably not even a P5.

Miss State needs to take either Missouri or Georgia's place on this list. I'll go with Missouri.
