Speaking of bank shot I never understood why everyone aims to swish it rather than use the backboard.
When I played I loved using the backboard on long shots, the square is literally a target to aim at and all you gotta do is get the right touch on velocity. I guess that’s just me because I have poor eyesight and my depth perception is shite

People did use the backboard more back in the day, but I think it completely stopped with the 3 point line for anything past 10 feet.

I would think the 3 point line being the inside line instead of the outside line would be annoying for MSU and OU playing in Oklahoma City. That's gotta be a weird single game adjustment.
