I have to agree they the sec will entertain ND.
I personally would love to see ND in the SEC to get the reactions of B1G. But then that puts the SEC with everybody else having teams in outlying areas with travel issues.

It's the price they pay to maintain the rivalry.
That is if SC wants to play Clemson every year (which some might not), then they would not be involved in the ACC rotation and Clemson not in SEC rotation.

What if the entire south east including notre Dame and WVU joined and we got all other ACC teams.
This is what Rivalry Saturday would look like.
Eta. Not the entire southeast. I don’t want uva, Duke or Wake.

I do not think the sec expands any further west Than Norman or Austin.
Nor should it. However, Oklahoma State is inside that region, and Texas is not going to keep voting aye for extended flyovers.
Pick one, FSU or Clemson.

No permanent rivalries and everyone rotate through everyone else. Only fair way to do it.

I wonder how the sec views these ACC schools.
Should they pick them Up or allow the big ten into the Carolina’s, Georgia and Florida. ?

A ninth SEC conference game would then set in motion a scheduling agreement with the Big Ten, which itself already plays nine league games. The scheduling agreement, though still in the discussion stages, would pit SEC and Big Ten teams against one another in annual games to be sold as a separate television package.

the is not one damn thing that SEC football does that needs to let the big2t9en piggy back off of the SEC brand - frick'em
they wanted Rutgers vs Washington and Nebraska vs Maryland and Northwestern vs UCLA - let those idiots live in that horrible reality -
SEC football is incredibly more entertaining to everyone - Yankee school fans watch our football - Southern folk DGAF to watch their football - that's the difference - and it's a significant difference -
Greg Sankey has an absolute gold mine of inventory if he wanted to move the SEC to 10 league games - Carolina Florida Georgia & Kentucky can still play our ACC rivals too - fan interest & tv ratings will demand the SEC get 4 spots in a CFP regardless of record due to more league games -
the future of the SEC is not with the big1t3en - it's actually with schools currently in the Big 12 & ACC - the proof that the big1t9en will die on the vine is CBS's failure in TV ratings last fall - 16 teams makes no difference as that conference still has 2 or at times 3 games per week of interest - the big2t8en needs the SEC more than the SEC could ever need that conference for football games -
the killshot I hope for is the SEC joining up with the B12 & ACC - alienating the Jim Delany Legends & Leaders Conference once and for all - the great Roy Kramer would pull that trigger too - $live & $ankey not so much -

When will people understand that the B1G makes money, more money than anyone else.
LINK

On the field, the SEC is unmatched. At the bank, the Big Ten actually has a slight edge. According to tax filings released in May, the Big Ten reported revenue of $879.9 million compared with $852.6 million for the SEC.
The ACC was a distant third even though it jumped from $617 million in 2021-22 to $707 million in 2022-23.
The Pac-12, which saw 10 of its 12 members disperse to other conferences this summer, generated $603.9 million. The Big 12 was fifth at $510.7 million.
The SEC and B1G want to continue making cash, and doing an annual B1G/SEC challenge makes more money for both conferences.

Keep in mind with this model, how you fared in non-conference would have little bearing on whether or not you make the playoff, that would depend solely on how you did in your conference + how your conference did as a whole in the intraconference challenges.
Take Georgia, they could go 0-3 in the nonconference games, but then go 6-3 or 7-2 in the SEC and finish 4th, and if the SEC earned 4 bids, they would get one.

Absolute JOKE if they don’t make ND join a league. They have no leverage! You don’t want to join a league? Great, this is only for teams in a conference. Allow ND to pull a UCF and give themselves a fake championship every year and watch their program die on the vine.
Second, look at the recruiting and ratings disparity now. The B12 and ACC are lucky they get 2 spots and not 1.

You’ll have to forgive e the resident reject 1801. He hates anything north of the Mason- Dixon line so his approval on college football decisions is not only Not required but it is in direct antithesis to where things are headed for the sport. And that’s a good thing. If it upsets turds like that, it’s gotta be a good decision

TCU TT KU K-State OSU Colorado ASU UofA - also TCU is interchangeable with SMU -
the SEC doesn't need anything from any other school outside of those 16 for OOC games to continue to be the best brand in CFB - and it really doesn't even need those 16 schools -

Clay Travis proposed (I Agree) start the first weekend with the Big 10 vs. SEC football Challenge over a 5 day Period starting on Thursday Night.

I would rather they do it week 3 every year personally. I'm not sure how you look week 1 is nearly reflective of the team you will be in the season. Week 3 you have a couple games played and kind of know what your team can do

I want Duke & Va. over NCState & WV.
& a major “Next!” instead of FSU (although I know the Fl./FSU rivalry).

So, you want the B1G with 8 more schools than the SEC?
Out of all of the B1G schools, they only have about 4 decent teams. The rest blow arse. The SEC is already too big. We don't need to add anyone else unless we add some weaker football teams (historically) like Memphis and Kansas.

Lol. Nasty_Canasta posts on Eleven Warriors as Bucktown 5.7×28. He has stiff competition but is one of the bigger dumbasses on a site cock full of them. I wouldn't put too much stock into what he says.
